Comprehensive and flexible application
Because the Multiplus features a fast 16A transfer switch in addition to its inverter and charger , it's ideal for RVs, boats, or yachts, as well as for grid-connected systems that provide uninterruptible power in the event of grid fluctuations or power outages. It's also ideal for use in grid-connected self-consumption systems that only require power from the utility when battery power is no longer sufficient, or as a UPS solution, where the Multiplus kicks in when the grid power suddenly fails, thus ensuring an uninterruptible power supply.

Massive performance expansion possible
In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can also be configured for a three-phase output. Up to six sets of three units can be connected in parallel to achieve a 75 kW/90 kVA inverter and over 2,000 A charging capacity (based on the 5000 version).

PowerControl – Working with limited generator power, restricted shore or grid power
The MultiPlus is a very powerful battery charger . Therefore, it draws a lot of current from the generator or shore power supply (almost 10A per 5kVA Multi at 230 VAC). The MultiControl remote control panel allows you to set the maximum mains or generator current to be drawn. The MultiPlus then takes other connected AC devices into account and uses only the remaining power for charging. This prevents the generator or shore power connection from being overloaded.

PowerAssist – “Power enhancement” of generators and shore connection support
This function adds a new dimension to the PowerControl principle . It allows the MultiPlus to support underpowered alternative sources. Load peaks often occur only for a limited period of time. In such a case, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore power or generator power is immediately compensated for with energy from the battery.

Solar power : alternating current even in the event of a power failure
The Multiplus can be used with both off-grid and grid-connected PV systems, as well as other alternative energy systems. Grid failure detection software is available.

System configuration
- If settings on an individual device need to be changed, this can be done within a few minutes using a DIP switch setting procedure.

- Parallel and three-phase systems can be configured using the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.

- Off-grid, grid-tied, and self-consumption systems using grid-tie inverters and/or MPPT solar chargers can be configured using wizards (software associated with the respective systems).

On-site monitoring and control options
Several options are available: Battery monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).

Remote monitoring and control
Victron Ethernet Remote, Victron Global Remote, and the Color Control Panel enable remote maintenance and monitoring of the MultiPlus. System data can also be stored and viewed free of charge on the VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.

Remote configuration
If systems with a Color Control Panel are connected to the Ethernet, they can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.
