Detailed description

SolarEdge's brand-new hybrid solution is the StorEdge three-phase inverter. It can be combined with 48 V batteries from LG Chem and BYD. The StorEdge three-phase inverter is a hybrid device. This means that the conversion, control, and simultaneous transmission of solar energy to the battery storage system is carried out by a single device. If the load cannot consume the generated power, it is stored directly in the battery. This eliminates the otherwise necessary AC conversion and thus reduces losses. Commissioning is easily done using a smartphone. All you need to do is download the SolarEdge SetApp from the app store.
