Off-grid solar inverter

The RS Smart Solar 48/6000 inverter is a 48V 6 kVA inverter with a 450 VDC 4 kWp PV input. It is used in off-grid solar applications that require AC power. The RS Smart Solar 48/6000 cannot feed into the grid, but can generate its own power, making it ideal for stand-alone systems.

Combination of an inverter, bidirectional DC-DC converter and MPPT (solar charger)

The inverter generates a perfect sine wave capable of powering high-power devices. It is powered by a bidirectional DC-DC converter that either charges the battery when excess solar power is available or converts power from the battery when it is needed.

Wide MPPT voltage range

80 - 450 VDC, with a PV start voltage of 120 VDC.

Light, efficient and quiet

Thanks to high-frequency technology and a new design, this powerful inverter weighs only 11 kg. It also boasts excellent efficiency, low standby power, and very quiet operation.

Display and Bluetooth

The display reads the battery, inverter, and solar charge controller parameters. These same parameters can be accessed using a smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device. Additionally, Bluetooth can be used to set up the system and change settings with VictronConnect.

VE.Can and VE.Direct connection

For connection to a GX device for system monitoring, data logging, and remote firmware updates. Built-in PV isolator The two parallel PV strings connected to the MC4 connectors can be safely isolated using the large built-in switch on the bottom of the device.

I/O ports

Programmable relay, temperature sensor, and voltage sensor connections. The remote input can also be configured to accept the Victron miniBMS.
