Combined with the SBR battery, Sungrow's SH-T Hybrid series presents a comprehensive 3-phase system solution that impresses with larger battery capacity, higher power, 3 MPP trackers, and extended charge and discharge current . This perfect symbiosis meets growing power needs and offers an ideal solution for a sustainable energy supply.

An outstanding feature of the SH-T Hybrid series is its lightning-fast switchover from grid-parallel operation to backup power mode , which occurs in less than 10 milliseconds. This corresponds to the standard of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), meaning that the system switches to backup bypass almost immediately, even in the event of a sudden power failure. Depending on the model, up to 25 kVA is permanently available for use in the event of a power failure. Thanks to the extra-powerful backup bypass with up to 48 kW, the entire house can be connected to the system's backup power connection. The proven full range of communication and control contacts for FRE and heat pump are, of course, on board.

Operation with Sungrow inverter and bypass function

When operated with the Sungrow inverter, the connected electronic devices are powered via the 230 V mains connection. In the bypass function up to 48 kW, the supply battery is relieved, and the incoming AC current is passed through the inverter without conversion. This makes the inverter extremely efficient.

Battery operation in the event of a power failure in the Sungrow inverter

In the event of a power outage, the Sungrow hybrid inverter takes over the power supply in less than 10 milliseconds. In this case, the inverter converts the DC voltage from the supply batteries into a 230 V AC voltage with a pure sine wave. This ensures that the connected devices are reliably supplied with power again and can operate smoothly.

After power supply is restored

After the power outage, the Sungrow hybrid inverter ensures direct power supply to the devices via the bypass function with 230 V from the house connection. The inverters are also equipped with an integrated battery charger to safely recharge the supply battery.

The combination of the SH-T Hybrid Series and the SBR battery provides a reliable and powerful solution to meet increasing power demands. This comprehensive system is designed to ensure a sustainable and efficient energy supply for homes and businesses.
